Normal schedule

A clear default for regular revision.

The problem

A review calendar is difficult to follow when every date has to be worked out by hand.

How it works

The current default uses intervals 1, 7 and 20. You can configure the schedule, and Revisync recalculates future dates for active cycles when it changes.

Some material needs a longer horizon than a short revision sequence.

Use the long-term schedule, whose current default intervals are 1, 3, 7, 21 and 60 days.

Overdue reviews

Revisync keeps overdue reviews visible and includes them in the current workload. They remain part of the same cycle until you complete or restart it.

Restarting a cycle

Return a topic to the beginning when that is what your study needs.

After a long gap, continuing from the old step may not make sense.

How it works

Restart or reinsert the content into a cycle from the app flow. The next dates are then calculated from that new starting point.

You can recover a topic deliberately instead of keeping an unrealistic history.

Local notifications

Let the device remind you at the time you chose.

The problem

A schedule is less useful when the next review is easy to forget.

How it works

Revisync schedules notifications locally according to your reminder settings. They are generated on the device, not by a remote service.

A reminder can work offline and without an account or a cloud profile.

Backup and restore

Keep a copy when you decide it is time.

The problem

Local data gives you control, but a device can still be lost or replaced.

How it works

Start an export or restore explicitly. The native system picker lets you choose where the file is read from or saved to.

There is no automatic upload: you decide when a copy exists and where it goes.

The current CSV flow covers groups, subjects and lessons. It is a catalogue tool, not a promise of cloud synchronisation.

The app currently includes light, dark and black themes, with a setting to choose the appearance.

Offline and local-first

Your study plan starts on your device.

The problem

An account and a permanent connection can make a simple study tool feel like a service you have to maintain.

How it works

The MVP has no account, login, own backend or remote analytics. Main study data is stored locally, and notifications are scheduled locally. The database uses SQLCipher to protect it against casual reading by other apps.

Why it helps

You can study with less infrastructure and more direct control over your data. This is not a claim of invulnerability: the MVP key is embedded in the APK.
