Before you download

A real study flow, from your first subject to the next review.

Revisync gives structure to the return: organise your material, study it, see the next date and keep going at your own pace.

This guide describes the current app flow. It does not require an account, a permanent connection or a universal study method.

The Revisync flow

The plan is useful when the next action is visible.

You do not need to build a perfect system before starting. Create your base first, then let each real study session create a clear next return.

  1. 01

    Group → subject → content.

    Organise your base

Create groups for contexts such as a semester or exam, subjects inside them, and the lessons or content you want to keep. Content can be registered before it enters a cycle.

  2. 02

Choose the content that is actually next.

    Start studying

When you confirm that the content was studied and start its cycle in the app, it enters the review flow. Opening a screen without completing the real step does not advance it.

  3. 03

The schedule turns a study session into a return date.

The cycle sets the next dates

Revisync calculates the next dates from the configured intervals. The current normal default is 1, 7 and 20 days; it is a planning option, not the only scientifically correct way to study.

  4. 04

Today’s reviews come to the front.

    Open Revisync on the day

The home screen shows what is due today. Future reviews stay in the calendar instead of competing with the current focus.

  5. 05

    A delay remains visible.

Complete it or leave it for later

Complete the real review to advance the cycle. If you do not complete it, the review becomes overdue and remains visible in the flow instead of silently disappearing.

  6. 06

The next step should match what you remember now.

    Continue or restart the cycle

Continue when the current cycle still represents your study. Restart or reinsert it when a long gap means returning to the beginning makes more sense; the previous history remains recorded.

  7. 07

Keep important topics in view for longer.

    Use long-term when it fits

The current long-term default is 1, 3, 7, 21 and 60 days. Choose it for content that benefits from a longer horizon, without presenting it as a universal prescription.

  8. 08

    Calendar + dashboard + history.

    Follow the bigger picture

Use the calendar to anticipate dates and the dashboard/statistics to understand due work, delays and your study history. The overview is for decisions, not artificial points.

  9. 09

    Export or restore explicitly.

    Back up when you want

Start the backup from the app and choose the destination with the system file picker. There is no automatic cloud sync in the MVP.

Two schedules, different contexts

Use the interval that matches the job.

The normal and long-term schedules are options in the app, not scientific guarantees. You can configure the intervals for your planning.

Normal

1 · 7 · 20 days

1720

A compact path for a regular return to the material.

Long-term

1 · 3 · 7 · 21 · 60 days

1372160

A longer horizon when a topic should stay in your study plan.

Control your copy

A backup is an action you choose.

When you export or restore, use the native system picker to choose the source or destination. If you select Drive, iCloud Drive or another provider, the file is also subject to that provider’s policies.
