CSV
Export data as CSV when you need to inspect or work with records outside the app.
Revisync can export data as CSV for inspection and use in compatible tools such as spreadsheets. The file is an export of records, not continuous synchronisation.
When to use it
Use CSV to analyse or transport tabular information. To preserve and restore the complete app state, prefer the Revisync backup when it is available for that purpose.
When opening a file in a spreadsheet, check separators, encoding and date formats. Different applications may interpret these details differently.
Protect copies: a CSV can contain study-planning information. Treat it with the same care as a backup.
