The theory behind reviews

A simple explanation of cycles, intervals and the role Revisync plays in your study.

Applies to Revisync 1.x

Reviewing at intervals means returning to content at different times instead of concentrating every revisit in one session. Revisync turns that plan into visible dates.

What a cycle represents

A cycle begins when you record that you studied content. Each later step is an opportunity to retrieve the subject, check what you remember and decide whether you need more practice.

An interval is not an individual guarantee or a direct measurement of memory. It is a practical structure that helps you return to content regularly.

Using it well

Try to recall the idea before rereading everything, mark a review only after completing the step and adjust your strategy when a topic needs more time. The app organises dates; it does not replace your judgement about study quality.

No miracle claims: spaced reviews can support a study routine, but results depend on the content, method and consistency of each person.
